My name is Haleigh Baker. I am 22 years old, and I am from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. I graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 2011. I also graduated from Roane State with my Associate of Science in Teaching in 2013 and from Tennessee Technological University with my Bachelor of Science in Education and a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies in 2015.Throughout my college career I have worked a lot with children. I was a teaching assistant in the two year old classroom at the Emory Valley Center of Oak Ridge, and I was a childcare provider at my church, where I worked with infants all the way up to 5th graders. I completed a practicum experience at Linden Elementary School (Oak Ridge City Schools) and Grand Oaks Elementary School (Anderson County), where I worked with 4th grade students. Also, I completed my residency experience at Norwood Elementary School (Anderson County) in a 1st grade classroom.The goal of this website is to showcase myself as a perspective teacher candidate.
