This is an example of a parent volunteer guidelines sheet that I have created for parent volunteers. This sheet outlines the rules and responsibilities that I would expect from each of my parent volunteers. At the end of the sheet there is a place for the parent volunteers to sign to say that they agree with my guidelines. |

| Family Engagement Project |
This is a project that a partner and I have created for families to get involved with our students' education. For the project, each family is responsible for making a museum exhibit that showcases their family. Each exhibit has to include family pictures, objects that represent the family, a description of a favorite family memory, and a description of a favorite family tradition. This project is a great way for families to be engaged and work together. |

| Mock Parent Teacher Conference |
This is a mock parent teacher conference video that I did with a partner. Our scenario was that a teacher needed to have a conference with a child's mother because the child has been very agressive ever sense his parents have been divorced. We chose to handle the situation by giving the mother information about the effects of a divorce on a child's education and some information about divorce support groups. |
